Unconventional deals, brought to you by LogicBuy | LogicBuy Blog

Past the stellar laptop deals, underneath the solid state drives, and behind the 2-for-1 monitor discounts, lay the weirdest deals deep within the bowels of LogicBuy. Here (and more often than not, in the ?freebies? section), you?ll find some truly strange offers. These deals, often ignored, expire quickly and turn to waste. Other times, they circle Reddit and are laughed at. Either way, you?re probably missing out on a few silly gems. Here are the best unconventional deals populating our site right now.

Free Sundae from Friendly?s

Our ?Food and Restaurant? section under the Cool Stuff tab is a cornucopia of delicious crap that?s bad for you. A free bloomin? onion at Outback Steakhouse? Ok. Facebook jerky? Sure. Ice cream pancakes? Yes. But the winner goes to Friendly?s, which offers a free 3-scoop sundae to anyone that signs up for its mailing list. That?s basically free money.

?Over 22,400 Free Drink Recipes

Here?s another one from the annals of food and drink. This site is offering free drink recipes. Can you find drink recipes online for free anyway? You can. But they do a neat thing where you can search recipes by spirit. This site doesn?t reinvent the wheel, but it does tell you how to make absinthe.

Jumper / Independence Day / I, Robot 3-Set DVD Pack

Why are these DVDs being bundled together, other than loosely fitting under the umbrella of Sci-Fi? (Off, nerds, off.) Not sure. Does Steven Soderbergh silently approve of all three films? Regardless, Amazon is touting this as a ?Sci-Fi three-pack? deal at 70% off for $14.99. And you probably never saw Jumper, and everyone loves Independence Day, so there?s that.

Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection (5 Discs)

There?s a lot going on in our Music and Movies section that often goes unnoticed. Frequently, we have really great deals on Blu-ray sets that range everything from the Apocolypse Now ?Full Disclosure Edition? to the Seventh Season of Weeds to Forbidden Planet [1956]. It?s all an excellent crapshoot on any given day. But I?m selecting Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection (5 discs) for $37.49 because that is crazy awesome value.
