  • "Farmer's Prayer"
  • "Bury Me Beneath the Willow"
  • "Keep on the Sunny Side"
  • "Here We Go"

Dale Jett & Hello Stranger are joined by friends John Carter Cash and Laura Cash to kick off this special Mountain Stage performance, recorded live in Bristol, the historic border town on the Tennessee/Virginia line where The Carter Family, Jimmie Rodgers and others recorded their first successful songs.

The son of Janette Carter and grandson of A.P. and Sara Carter, Dale Jett is a third-generation member of the legendary Carter Family, preserving the music they recorded in the historic "Bristol Sessions" of 1927. Singing and playing guitar and autoharp, Jett performed at the Carter Family Fold and Museum for many years, along with his wife Teresa on bass and longtime friend Oscar Harris on guitar, mandolin and autoharp.

Jett, John Carter Cash and Laura Cash released an album called Past & Present as The Carter Family III in 2010. They are joined here by guitarists Larry Perkins and Jerry Hensley.

Vocalist Julie Adams and the Mountain Stage band ends the segment with "Here We Go," a song written by Dave Mallet.
